The format and duration of the first consultation in classical homeopathy differ from those in conventional medicine; they are generally longer. This is all the more true in the case of chronic condition(s), as the homeopathic therapist's job is to go far beyond the common signs of illness; asking about your physical symptoms, your personal and family history, your general condition, your mood, your food desires, your emotional state - in short, everything that makes you “you” and not someone else. In the acute setting, the picture of current symptoms is generally clearer, and consultation is therefore quicker.
First appointment for adults and children (13 years and under)

For chronic situations in adults, the first appointment lasts between 1h30 and 2h00, either face-to-face at the clinic or by videoconference. For children, the first appointment is divided into two parts, the first with the parent(s) and the second all together, either face-to-face at the clinic or by videoconference. Follow-up by videoconference should be scheduled about 1 week after the first dose of remedy, and then monthly follow-ups by videoconference for at least 3 months to assess your response and rigorously optimize the benefits of treatment (see details below on follow-up duration and costs).
For acute conditions in adults or children (e.g. colds, flu, gastroenteritis, bronchitis, fever, teething, chicken pox, sports injuries, etc.), the consultation time is shorter, approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

Follow-ups are carried out by videoconference and form an integral part of the treatment. They generally last around 45 minutes, and enable us to rigorously evaluate the effects observed and optimize the frequency of doses to accelerate the duration of the cure. In chronic situations, the frequency is generally monthly, especially at the beginning, and then adjusted according to your needs, your clinical evolution and the nature of your symptoms.
Homeopathic remedies:
the homeopathic remedy is given to you free of charge after the consultation (if I have it and you are in Quebec): either in person or by post (free regular delivery). Fast delivery is possible, subject to additional postal charges (at your expense). Remedies are given exclusively as part of a consultation.
We also offer, exclusively for our patients, advice on purchasing individualized kits of homeopathic remedies to deal with emergencies (acute conditions, travel, trauma, etc.) (contact us for details).

In-person consultation: cash, cheque or interac.

Cancellation policy:
Unless there is a major event beyond your control (death, accident, illness, storm), in-person or remote appointments cancelled less than 3 business days (Saturdays and Sundays excluded) before the scheduled appointment date will be billed.

Services are covered by several group or private insurance companies (check your coverage).
